Mental Skills Training Sessions:

Intro to Peak Performance:


This session is an introduction to what it means to be performing at your best beyond your physical skills. Within this 90 minute session, Dr. Walker will offer you an assessment on your current mental preparation skills, and provide ways to improve your performance. Setting specific performance goals will also be covered






Three Session Series:

Within this series, we will identify the specific issues that hinder your performance and focus our attention on finding and learning the right combination of skills that will help you realize your full potential.

Barbara Walker, Ph.D.
Performance Psychologist 


Dr. Walker is the founder and owner of The Center For Human Performance, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she serves as a Performance Psychologist, providing consultation to high level athletes and business professionals in the area of peak performance. She has earned her doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in exercise and sport psychology, and is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified consultant. Barbara is a regular presenter at national and local professional conferences and workshops, as well as a regular contributor to magazines. She has appeared as a guest expert on multiple radio and television programs. She recently served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), as the Professional Services Division Head, and currently serves on the board of directors for the Cincinnati Flying Pig. She is a member of both the American Psychological Association and AASP, as well as a member of the sport psychology registry with the United States Olympic Committee. Barbara demonstrates a passion for peak performance principles applying them in her personal life as a competitive athlete in sports of marathon, triathlon, duathlon and cycling.
